How difficult is it to upgrade to PWA in Magento 2 if the current theme is not yet fully debugged and there is no confidence in the stability of the current build?

I'd only heard about PWA, but I didn't know where to start, especially when the current topic was still in the works. But on the magento nginx config website, they explained to me how to switch to PWA gently without risking the store. We started with a test run, we didn't break anything, we checked everything step by step. As an ordinary user, it was important for me not to be overwhelmed by technical details — and this is exactly the case. Now I have a modern interface that loads quickly and conveniently on mobile devices, and at the same time the main store has remained stable. It's the perfect combination.

It sounds like a step into the future, but it's still hard to say how realistic it is without a complete overhaul of the entire project.
