With more portals locking content behind paywalls, I’m curious—have you ever subscribed to a news site, and was it worth it? What kind of content made you take that step? Or do you prefer to stick to free sources no matter what?

I used to scroll social media for news, but the algorithm fed me the same topics over and over. Now I stick to actual news websites where I can choose what I read. AcehGround This change helped me avoid the echo chamber effect, and I feel way more informed now than when I relied solely on feeds.
I’ve thought about it, but so far I haven’t subscribed to any news portals. I’m not against the idea—I just haven’t felt the need. There’s still a lot of information available for free. Maybe if I found one that really aligned with my interests, I’d consider it.
